Hello Flawless Oxgyen Wow foundation review by Benefit πŸŒΈ

As promised, here’s my Benefit Oxygen Wow foundation review! I have been using it for about a week now so I can give an honest, proper opinion on it.

Ok, actually, let’s start with the name! Does it want to be any longer? What a mouthful! But hey ho. For Benefit, the packaging is a little….boring? But the. Again maybe it’s a good thing to tone down once in a while! I like the pump dispenser at the top of the bottle, I find I only need half a pump to cover my whole face!

Product and application.

This retails at Β£26.50, which I do think is rather over priced. I would have been happier paying around the Β£20 mark. I have the lightest shade, Ivory (believe in me). Now a lot of people say the colour is quite yellow until blended and I do have to agree on that one. I was a little bit alarmed when I first applied it, I was expecting to look like Laa Laa from the Teletubbies. But to my relief, it did blend in ok!

The yellow tinge actually helped to cancel out any redness and covered a bit of the dark circles around my eyes, so I can see why they went for that effect. I found the consistency almost sticky when trying to blend. Compared to my LancΓ΄me Air De Taint foundation, it’s not as good blending wise, you’ve really got to go for it!

On the left, is my face freshly washed and moisturised and on the right its with the Oxygen Wow on. I’m quite lucky I have pretty good skin so I don’t need major coverage, but just enough to look a little more airbrushed! It is also oil free and the formula is claimed to have hydrating benefits and light diffusing properties. My skins hasn’t felt heavy or cakey since wearing it and I have oily skin so oil free is always a winner for me! It also has SPF 25 which is great!

The completed look after concealer, bronzer, set with powder and eye makeup.

What are you thoughts? Does anyone else use/want this foundation?

Thanks for reading Dollies! 🌸

  1. ” I was expecting to look like Laa Laa from the Teletubbies.” Story of my life!! haha. You already have perfect skin, but this makes it look even more perfect. I usually use BB creams but I’ll maybe try this foundation in the future! Great post xx

    1. Story of my teenage years! Dream matte mousse by Maybelline was the talk of the town back then, and 2 shades darker 😳 thank you sweetie, soon as I get a bit of tan on my face I’ll wave goodbye to foundation until autumn. I’d recommend this if you want it for light coverage, of course its buildable too πŸ™‚ xx

  2. I love this foundation! I picked it up about a year ago now and it works great with my skin. I love how light weight it is. I don’t normally like wearing foundation and prefer BB or CC creams bc I don’t need very much coverage either, but this is one foundation that felt comfortable on my skin. I hope that you continue loving it! πŸ˜‰
